Our Story
In 2020, John & Tracey Melnar launched Grand Land Company, a Farm and Ranch Real Estate Brokerage, to serve Agents in Texas.
"After training up young agents into top producers, we quickly realized that top producing agents need different levels of support when taking ownership of their businesses. Most brokerages in Texas are not willing to break the structured commission models to serve them. We weren't either, until we experienced the painful lesson of losing one of our top agents due to our own failure to bend. As Henry Ford once said ' Failure is simply the opportunity to begin again, this time more intelligently.' and so, our Pro Series service model was born."

We recognize that everyone has different needs and believe you should only have to pay for services you actually use. Do you just need a sponsor? No Problem! Sponsorship, E&O Coverage, and Commission Processing are offered as our base minimum package. Everything else can be added on as needed.

As you opt-in to additional services your rate increases incrementally. Our rates start as low as 7% and increase up to 30% depending on the services you select.

Our team is available to you 7 days a week, 15 hours a day. Our leadership is available to guide you through complex transactions and our Operations Team is highly trained in all aspects of Farm and Ranch contracts, closing procedures, and navigating obscure scenarios distinct to the land industry. We are dedicated to you and your success and will be at your right hand at all times.
